Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Welcomes EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now enjoy EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo, added to the service today, January 14th. These two titles, released 27 years apart, mark the conclusion of Wave 1's January 2025 additions to the XGP lineup.
Diablo, a seminal hack-and-slash RPG released in late 1996, needs no introduction. UFC 5, the latest installment in EA Sports' MMA fighting game franchise, launched in October 2023. Their inclusion showcases the diverse range of titles available on XGP Ultimate.
While Microsoft prioritizes multi-platform games, these additions are exceptions: Diablo is PC-only, and EA Sports UFC 5 requires an Xbox Series X/S for local play. However, XGP Ultimate members with sufficient internet speeds can stream UFC 5 via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Xbox Game Pass Now Hosts Over a Dozen Activision Blizzard Titles
With the addition of Diablo, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now boasts 13 Activision Blizzard titles (counting Spyro and Crash trilogies as three games each). This represents a steady addition rate of nearly one new Activision Blizzard title per month since Microsoft's acquisition in late 2023, signaling an accelerating influx of titles from this expansive catalog.
