Exoprimal and Insurgency: Sandstorm are entirely multiplayer, while Escape Academy features a well-received co-op mode. Escape Academy holds the distinction of having the longest tenure on Game Pass, initially launching on the service in July 2022.
Escape Academy's Continued Availability:
While leaving Xbox Game Pass, Escape Academy will be free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Removal times from Xbox Game Pass vary, but typically occur near the end of the day.
Future Xbox Game Pass Changes:
The next wave of removals is anticipated on January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Game Pass additions. Confirmed additions include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, all day-one releases. Further updates are anticipated around January 23rd's Xbox Developer Direct.
