"Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" is one such quest, tasking players with dispelling a powerful storm in the northeastern part of Rinascita. Though optional, completing this quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within the storm-ravaged ruins of Fagaceae Peninsula. Prepare for a significant undertaking; equip your strongest Resonators and get ready for an extended adventure.
Quest Walkthrough:
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Activate three Discipline Steles at designated locations.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (first encounter).
- Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct (second encounter).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Activating the Steles:
Stand on the glowing circle at each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies will interrupt the charging process, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause the energy to dissipate. Utilize the enhanced elemental damage and status effects introduced in the 2.0 update to your advantage. For the third stele, carefully maneuver it into position before enemy spawns commence; a button prompt will appear when correctly positioned.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct:
Use your most powerful Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct after returning to the starting area. A cutscene will initiate upon significantly lowering its health, leading you deeper into the ruins. The environment becomes increasingly hazardous during the chase; watch out for falling debris and lightning strikes while eliminating any intervening enemies. A final confrontation with the Construct awaits, concluding this phase of the quest.
Confronting the Dragon of Dirge:
The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe capable of one-shotting unprepared players. Its breath attacks and falling star assaults require careful avoidance. Prioritize staggering the dragon using stuns to create attack windows. Focus on surviving its powerful attacks and capitalizing on opportunities to stun it.
Upon defeating the Dragon of Dirge, the quest concludes, granting access to the remaining areas of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and the Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
