The Witcher 3 adaptation in the vein of fantasy movies from the 1980s

Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, has unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, styled to evoke the aesthetic of 1980s cinema. This project leverages the power of neural networks. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.

Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of Triss's wedding in the game. The planned "Ashen Marriage" quest was set in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists with wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.

Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less elaborate presents are less well-received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
