After completing the opening section of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, embark on a more open world experience, including side quests. One such quest involves locating Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, a task rewarding you handsomely.
Finding Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Begin by accepting the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, west of Tachov. Alternatively, speak directly with Vitek, as Zlata will direct you to him anyway. Vitek is located slightly southeast of the house (marked 'B' on the map above). This quest leads you north, where you'll discover Vostatek under attack by wolves.
Searching for Pepik
After rescuing Vostatek, help him to his campsite where he tethered Pepik. Follow his instructions; be mindful of your stamina, as dropping Vostatek will hinder progress.
Upon reaching the campsite, you'll find Pepik missing. Follow the trail of clues, examining each one to continue the search. This path leads you to a poacher's camp.

Pepik has been captured by poachers. He's located at the back of their camp. The poachers move around, allowing you to engage them strategically in smaller groups. Eliminating those near the camp's edge is easier; some may surrender. Alternatively, you can bypass the tougher poachers inside the camp and escape with Pepik. Note: There's no opportunity to rest between rescuing Vostatek and finding Pepik, so manage your health accordingly.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can choose to ride with him back to his home (fast travel option). Your reward includes Groschen and access to his home as a safe haven.
Having successfully reunited Pepik and Vostatek, continue your Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 adventure, pursuing other quests, romances, or equipment upgrades with your newfound wealth.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
