UFO-Man: A Physics-Based Puzzle Game That Will Test Your Patience

Indie developer Dyglone is bringing UFO-Man to Steam and iOS in mid-2024. This physics-based puzzle game presents a deceptively simple premise: transport a box using your UFO's tractor beam. However, the execution is far from simple.

Players must navigate treacherous landscapes, precarious platforms, and dodge speeding vehicles to successfully deliver their cargo. The lack of checkpoints adds a significant layer of frustration; dropping the box means restarting the level from the beginning. This demanding gameplay is balanced, hopefully, by a calming soundtrack and charming low-poly visuals.

Inspired by the Japanese bar game "Iraira-bou," UFO-Man offers a unique challenge. To mitigate the frustration, a "Crash Count" feature tracks the number of collisions with obstacles and the box itself, encouraging players to strive for optimal efficiency.
