Superliminal a puzzle game about escaping a dream is coming to mobile

by Penelope Feb 02,2025

Superliminal, the acclaimed indie puzzle game, is making its way to mobile devices this July! Prepare to delve into a surreal dreamscape where perspective is key to escape.

This first-person puzzle adventure, launching July 30th on the App Store and Google Play, challenges players to navigate a recurring dream using innovative forced perspective mechanics. Pre-register now!

Developed by Pillow Castle and published by Noodlecake, Superliminal boasts "Very Positive" Steam reviews. The mobile version will include controller support.

The story begins innocently enough: you doze off in front of the TV, only to awaken as an unwitting participant in Dr. Pierce's dream therapy program. Guided (somewhat) by Dr. Pierce's voice and his less helpful AI assistant, you'll manipulate object sizes, creating pathways and overcoming obstacles through clever use of perspective. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, demanding precise viewing angles for solutions.
