Spawn Joins Mortal Kombat Mobile Roster

by Jacob Jan 24,2025

Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn!

This latest addition to the mobile fighting game roster features Spawn in his Mortal Kombat 11 design, created by Todd McFarlane. He's not alone; MK1 Kenshi will soon join the fray. This update also boasts three brand-new Friendship finishers and a brutal Brutality.

Spawn, the anti-heroic vigilante, is a murdered soldier who struck a deal with the Devil to return to Earth. His supernatural powers make him a formidable addition, potentially even a harbinger of the Apocalypse. Originally created (though first published in the 90s), Spawn is a flagship character from Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest character in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

A Hellspawn-Sized Update

Alongside the new Spawn and a revamped Kenshi, players can conquer the newly added Hellspawn dungeons. While some may dismiss mobile versions of beloved fighting games, the inclusion of Spawn is sure to excite many fans of both franchises.

Spawn, based on his MK11 appearance, is currently available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!

A Bittersweet Note: Just before publishing, news broke of the alleged dismissal of the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team. Sadly, Spawn's arrival may be the final accomplishment of this talented group.
