Sinking City 2 Preview: First Look

The new teaser highlights core gameplay mechanics: intense combat, immersive location exploration, and intricate investigations – all fundamental components of this upcoming title. Since the footage was captured during pre-alpha development, final gameplay may evolve, with guaranteed improvements to graphics and animations.

This survival horror sequel serves as a direct follow-up to the original, transporting players to the supernatural-ravaged city of Arkham. A mysterious flood has plunged the once-great metropolis into ruin, creating a breeding ground for terrifying creatures.

To enhance development and community involvement, Frogwares has initiated a €100,000 (~$105,000) Kickstarter campaign. The funding will support production while rewarding devoted fans through early access opportunities for playtesting and refinement. The studio is leveraging Unreal Engine 5's cutting-edge capabilities for this project.

The Sinking City 2 is scheduled for a 2025 launch across current-gen platforms (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
