SimCity BuildIt Celebrates 10 Years with a Blast from the Past and a Trip to Space!
SimCity BuildIt is launching a significant update to commemorate its tenth anniversary. While not literally venturing into space, the game introduces a new space-themed specialization. Level 40 and above players can unlock exciting new structures like the Space HQ, Astronaut Training Center, and Launchpad – a highly requested feature by dedicated fans.
This isn't the only addition. The new Mayor's Pass season, "Memory Lane," takes players on a nostalgic journey, unlocking beloved buildings from previous seasons. The update also includes visual enhancements and graphical improvements. A festive holiday event will run from December 25th to January 7th, adding a seasonal touch.
SimCity BuildIt's longevity is impressive, especially considering its launch during a period often viewed as a low point for the Sims franchise under EA.
