Torchlight: Infinite has officially launched its thrilling new season — The Season of Outlaw — bringing a wave of chaos, crime, and high-stakes heists to the world of Torchlight. Developed by XD Games, this SS9 update arrives hot on the heels of TorchCon, the franchise’s first-ever offline community event, amplifying the excitement for fans worldwide.

Set in a dystopian realm ruled by the corrupt corporate empire Tower Co., the Outlaw season throws players into a lawless society where the only rule is: take what you can. Tower Co. hoards unimaginable riches, and it’s up to you to break in, steal their loot, and dismantle their grip on power.

The biggest highlight of this season?

Introducing the all-new Carjack and Crime System. Tower Co. convoys crisscross the wasteland, packed with valuable cargo and bounties. By hijacking these armored transports and cracking encrypted data caches, you rack up your Crime Rating. The higher it climbs, the deeper your access to the underground Black Market, where dangerous contracts and exclusive rewards await.

But the real test of nerve lies within the Central Vault. You can choose to extract early with your loot — or push further into secure vaults for greater rewards. However, the longer you stay, the higher the risk of triggering a powerful vault boss, turning your heist into a fight for survival.

Returning to the fray is Rosa, the elegant knight with a deadly edge. This season, she returns reimagined with the new Unsullied Blade hero trait — a hybrid build that thrives on mana, combining swift melee strikes with devastating area-of-effect destruction. Whether you're slicing through enemies up close or unleashing wide-scale devastation, Rosa adapts to your playstyle.

The skill system has also seen a major overhaul. The outdated Imbue System has been retired and replaced with Focus Skills — dynamic abilities that charge based on in-game actions like movement, critical hits, or enemy kills. With five powerful Focus Skills now available, players can craft more responsive and personalized builds than ever before.

Enhancing gear customization even further is the Tower Sequence Crafting System. This innovative feature allows players to attach modular power cores to non-legendary equipment, enabling them to replicate legendary effects or create entirely new, unique combinations. With approximately 200 sequences to discover, the possibilities for build innovation are nearly endless.
