Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: *My Time at Sandrock* is making its way to mobile devices, starting with an exclusive beta test on Android in China. Developed by Pathea Games and a sequel to the beloved 2019 title *My Time at Portia*, this game first launched on PC in 2023. On Steam, it's published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, while Conscience Studio is handling the mobile test in China.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first-ever mobile test for *My Time at Sandrock*, serving as a technical trial to assess the game's performance on mobile platforms. The developers are fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should anticipate some initial hiccups.
The beta test, exclusive to Android users in China, will be conducted via the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. Interested players have until January 22nd to apply, with the test beginning on January 23rd. Please note that your saves will be wiped at the end of the test. However, you'll have the opportunity to start anew and explore the initial 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. If you're in China and keen on participating, visit the official beta test page for more details.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert world 300 years after the catastrophic Day of Calamity, *My Time at Sandrock* immerses you in the role of the town's newest Builder. Your mission involves gathering resources, crafting machines, befriending the locals, and even facing off against monsters. The game's art style is charmingly quirky, as you can see in the trailer below:
