Step into a winter wonderland with RuneScape's annual Christmas Village event, where you can immerse yourself in new seasonal activities, earn exciting rewards, and embark on a festive quest. This year, the event is packed with delightful ways to celebrate the holiday season, from crafting toys to chopping down fir trees.
The festivities begin with a brand-new limited-time quest, "A Christmas Reunion," set in Diango's Workshop. Santa has entrusted Diango with spreading Christmas cheer, but he needs your help to get the workshop up and running. Your tasks include gathering pixie helpers, crafting uniforms, and stocking up on treats for the breakroom. Successfully completing the quest will earn you the title "Diango's Little Helper," two Treasure Hunter keys, and access to Diango's Workshop Skilling Activities.
The Christmas Village also introduces seasonal tasks that allow you to utilize familiar skills in festive ways. Brew hot chocolate with your Cooking skill, paint toys using Crafting, and chop down snowy fir trees with Woodcutting. These tasks are ones you're already familiar with, but now they come with a holiday twist and additional rewards.
A major highlight this year is the return of the elusive Black Partyhat, a coveted reward for those who deliver letters to Santa and climb the Nice List. Along your journey, you can also collect cozy clothing items perfect for the season, such as winter hats and scarves, as well as new items like the Holly Guard and Snowglobe Lantern, available from the Christmas Spirit Shop.
The event features an in-game Advent Calendar to help you count down to Christmas. Log in daily to claim festive rewards, with a special surprise awaiting you on December 25th. The Christmas Village festivities will continue throughout the month and conclude on January 6th, 2025.
