Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can significantly enhance the experience. In R.E.P.O., the challenge of facing tough monsters means that squad members might need to take turns being the one in need of revival. Here’s a detailed guide on how to revive your teammates in R.E.P.O. after they’ve been taken down.

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in R.E.P.O., your health begins at 100. You can lose health from monster attacks or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To recover, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by approaching each other and interacting with the health bar, a unique feature that could benefit more games.

Despite these health management options, the relentless monsters in R.E.P.O. can sometimes overpower your squad. When a teammate dies, their head drops to the ground, which you can pick up. Keep an eye on the location where your ally fell, or check the map for a small icon matching their character color that marks the head's position. Retrieving the head is just the first step.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you have the head in your inventory, proceed to the extraction point. Place the head there, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (visible in the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then regain more health by entering the truck, ensuring they're not a liability to the team. It's back to business as usual after that.

However, if retrieving the head isn't possible, there's another way to bring your teammates back: start a new round. This method is similar to Call of Duty Zombies, where dead players can return at the start of a new round. While this leaves you at a disadvantage for the current round, it can be beneficial, especially for less experienced players who can observe and learn from more seasoned teammates.
