This guide details how to recruit every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Remember, while recruitment is usually straightforward (accepting their offer to join), some situations require successful contract completion or other events. Crew Member Recruitment Guide:
Serafin and Bliss: These two join automatically at the start and are always part of your crew. Serafin is generally unavailable for Contracts. No achievements are tied to their recruitment.
Juni: Found temporarily on Hexport. Permanent recruitment happens at Helion Gate after completing the Idle Minds clock at Solheim Records. Complete the subsequent contract and agree to let Juni rejoin your ship. Recruiting Juni unlocks the Data Archaeologist achievement.
Yu-Jin: Encountered on Far Spindle after completing the Getting Wracked clock (order a Wrack four times, costing 16 Cryo) at Gaia’s Gyre. Complete his contract to recruit him permanently. Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks The Freelancer achievement.
Luis: Available during the Aphelion Beacon contract if you choose to leave Yu-Jin behind. Recruiting Luis unlocks the Signalchaser achievement.
Kadet: Initially encountered on Far Spindle after completing the Spindle Core clock. This unlocks a new drive and Stripline Express. Complete the events at Stripline Express, then go to the Scatteryards to recruit Kadet. Recruiting Kadet unlocks The Spindlejack achievement.
Femi & Nia: You can only recruit one. You meet Nia on Hexport and Femi on both Hexport and Floatsam. A contract to ensure Nia's safety leads to a choice between them. Recruiting Femi unlocks the Big Brother achievement; recruiting Nia unlocks the Little Sister achievement.
Flint: After your first visit to Olivera, a contract involves investigating Flint's disappearance. A subsequent contract requires a quick trap setup. Follow Xander to rescue Flint and successfully complete the contract to recruit him. Recruiting Flint unlocks the Fugitive achievement.
