Rainbow Six Siege X, a big upgrade to the popular esports game announced

It’s become a tradition for developers of popular esports titles to unveil major announcements just before the grand finals of their world championships. Ubisoft, in keeping with this tradition, and with Rainbow Six Siege entering its tenth year, delivered a significant reveal: Siege X.

This isn't simply a sequel, nor is it a minor update. Siege X promises a transformation of Rainbow Six Siege, akin to the relationship between Counter-Strike 2 and Global Offensive. Expect a substantial upgrade that fundamentally alters the gameplay experience, yet preserves all player progress and data.

Further details will be unveiled during a special three-hour presentation on March 13th, featuring a live audience in Atlanta. To commemorate Rainbow Six Siege’s decade-long run, Ubisoft has also released a celebratory pack offering legendary skins from the game's earliest seasons—a comprehensive collection of classic cosmetics.
