Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Welcomes All Trainers

The Debut of the Steam Pokémon, Volcanion

Niantic invites Trainers worldwide to join the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2025 events this summer. Kicking off on May 29th, the festivities will be held at these locations:

　⚫︎　May 29 - June 1 in Osaka, Japan (Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park)
　⚫︎　June 6 - June 8 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
　⚫︎　June 13 - June 15 in Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)

A major highlight this year is the debut of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion. Ticket holders at any event location can encounter it through Special Research. Note that each player will only have one chance to encounter Volcanion, regardless of how many event tickets they own. Additional Special Research stories will reward Volcanion Candy instead.

Pre-Order Exclusive Festival Merchandise

Elevate your GO Fest experience with exclusive 2025 apparel and accessories. Choose from the official event t-shirt, tote bag, hoodie, lapel pin, or themed Pokémon backpacks. Remember, all items are limited stock and available only by pre-order, to be collected during the event itself.

Please note that the Lapel Pin accessory and the limited-edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobbuffet backpacks are exclusive to the Jersey City and Paris events; they will not be available for claim in Osaka.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Event For Everyone

Can't make it to a regional event? Don't worry! The Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global online event takes place on June 28th and 29th, open to players everywhere. A Global event ticket grants access to exclusive Timed Research for Volcanion, plus 5 Max Revives, 5 Rare Candies, and 3 Premium Battle Passes.

Global tickets are available for purchase until the event ends on June 29th. However, Trainers who buy their ticket by April 15th and play Pokémon GO at any point between April 8th (10 AM local time) and April 15th (10 AM local time) will receive a special Timed Research that rewards an additional encounter with Skiddo.
