Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them—and even their Shiny variants! The real excitement lies in their evolutions. Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within this timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).
Special and Timed Research:
Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, lasting a week after the main Community Day. Logging in during the Community Day unlocks tasks rewarding encounters with the special-background Karrablast and Shelmet.
