Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetics

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic rewards to the in-game shop. These new items include a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

The event shop, stocked with these new additions and the usual Shinedust exchange, remains open until January 28th. However, players should note that event tickets stop being awarded on January 22nd. Those aiming to acquire all the event items are urged to log in regularly before this date.

Following a hectic holiday season filled with generous login bonuses, the game's event schedule has settled into a calmer pace. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmed reusability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. Players can exchange surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event, which began January 6th, initially featured two promo cards: Squirtle and Charmander. While possessing identical attacks to their standard counterparts, these promo cards boast unique artwork. The first part's rewards—a Trainer Blue backdrop and a Blue & Blastoise cover—remain available. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire- and Water-type cards, award Event Shop Tickets. These missions are cumulative across both event parts. The Bonus Pick also offers additional tickets, streamlining item acquisition. Daily logins are crucial for completing the card collection, as trading these limited-edition cards may be restricted, according to ongoing speculation.
