Pokemon GO Adding Galar Pokemon in Upcoming Event

The Steely Resolve event in Pokémon GO, running from January 21st to 26th, marks the highly anticipated debut of the Corviknight evolutionary line: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight. This follows the earlier tease in the Dual Destiny Season loading screen.

This event offers a packed schedule of activities:

New Pokémon & Event Features:

• Corviknight Evolutionary Line: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight will appear for the first time.
• Dual Destiny Special Research: Unlock new rewards through this special research storyline.
• Field Research Tasks: Complete various tasks to earn rewards.
• Increased Spawns: Boosted encounter rates for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and more (some with shiny possibilities).
• Magnetic Lure Modules: Attract Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
• Shadow Pokémon Attack Removal: Use a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
• $5 Paid Timed Research: An optional paid research track with additional rewards.

Raid Battles:

• One-Star Raids: Lickitung, Skorupi, Pancham, and Amaura (some shiny).
• Five-Star Raids: Deoxys (Attack and Defense Forme) until January 24th, then Dialga (shiny possible).
• Mega Raids: Mega Gallade until January 24th, then Mega Medicham (shiny possible).

Eggs:

• 2km Eggs will contain Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, and Rookidee (some shiny).

Event Bonuses:

• Evolving specific Pokémon (Machoke, Croconaw, Wooper, Lickitung, Corvisquire, Paldean Wooper) during the event will grant them exclusive Charged or Fast Attacks.

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st - 26th):

• Increased Stardust rewards (4x) from battle wins.
• Increased daily battle set limit (20 sets, 100 battles).
• Free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar rewards.
• Increased Attack, Defense, and HP variance for Pokémon encountered in GO Battle League rewards.
• Various GO Battle League rotations throughout the week.
