*Pokémon Unite* features a comprehensive ranking system, comprising six ranks, each divided into multiple classes to allow for detailed progression. The number of classes per rank increases as you ascend the ladder, with higher ranks offering more challenging competition and better rewards. Only by participating in ranked matches can players earn the necessary points to climb these ranks.

Here are the ranks you'll encounter in *Pokémon Unite*:

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Starting Out

Your journey begins at the Beginner Rank, the first tier of the ranking system. To dive into ranked matches, players must reach Trainer Level 6, maintain a Fair Play score of 80, and possess at least five Pokémon licenses. Once these requirements are met, you can select the ranked match mode and embark on your competitive journey starting from the Beginner Rank.

Performance Points

In *Pokémon Unite*, Performance Points are your bread and butter for climbing the ranks. Earned during each ranked match, these points range from 5 to 15 based on your individual performance. Additionally, you can earn 10 points for good sportsmanship, another 10 for simply participating, and between 10 to 50 points for maintaining a winning streak. Each rank has a cap on Performance Points, and once you hit that cap, you start earning Diamond Points, which are essential for advancing. Here are the Performance Point caps for each rank:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Advancement Rewards

Advancement in *Pokémon Unite* hinges on Diamond Points. You earn one Diamond Point for each ranked match victory and lose one for each defeat. Accumulating four Diamond Points allows you to upgrade your class within your current rank. Once you've maxed out the highest class in your rank, you'll move to the first class of the next rank. Players who've reached their rank's Performance Point cap also earn one Diamond Point per match.

At the end of each season, *Pokémon Unite* rewards players with Aeos Tickets based on their rank, with higher ranks yielding more tickets. These tickets are invaluable for purchasing items and upgrades in the Aeos Emporium. Additionally, certain ranks offer unique seasonal rewards, adding an extra layer of incentive to climb the ranks.

With this knowledge in hand, you're well-equipped to tackle ranked matches in *Pokémon Unite* and ascend the ranks to claim the best rewards. Good luck, and may your Pokémon lead you to victory!

*Pokémon Unite is available now on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.*
