Pokémon Go's June Update Packed with Content

by Aaliyah Jul 20,2026
  • The Pokémon Go June update is just about here
  • Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace are headlining the action
  • A full roster of five-star raids, Max Battles, and other new content is also on the way

While dreary rain has dampened the lovely pre-summer weather for many of us, a flood of hot new content is still arriving. Not only is Pokémon Go hitting the road, but its June update is also packed with major additions.

Kicking things off are three featured Pokémon: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. They'll be joined by five featured Dynamax battles throughout the month: Chansey (June 2nd), Machop (9th-15th), Hatenna (16th-22nd), Caterpie (23rd-29th), and Shuckle (30th-July 6th). These will appear in Max Battles and at specific Power Spots.

Of course, no major update is complete without new five-star Raids. Trainers can look forward to facing Tapu Bulu (June 3rd-5th), Groudon (5th-14th), Kyogre (14th-23rd), and Cabalion (30th-July 8th) throughout June, with Shiny versions available for the fortunate.

As anticipated, the star of the Shadow Raids is Shadow Regice, appearing during weekends in June. They'll be accompanied by Mega Raids featuring Mega Altaria (June 3rd-5th), Mega Abomasnow (5th-14th), Mega Manectric (14th-23rd), Mega Beedrill (23rd-30th), and Mega Aggron (30th-8th).

Don't forget the upcoming events! Serene Retreat is up first, running from May 30th to June 3rd. Throughout the month, you can also anticipate Instrumental Wonders, Phantom Ruins, Community Days, and a mystery event, among others, brightening up a rainy pre-summer for Pokémon fans.
