PlayStation Prepares to Showcase Upcoming Games in State of Play Event

by Jason Feb 23,2025

Get ready for PlayStation's State of Play! A 40+ minute showcase is set for February 12th at 2 PM Pacific / 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM UK, airing on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels in English and Japanese.

While specifics remain under wraps, the PlayStation Blog promises "a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world." Many are anticipating updates on highly anticipated titles. A deeper dive into Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima and a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are high on many wish lists.

Given last week's PlayStation Store leak, a formal Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date trailer is a strong possibility.

PlayWhile news on Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other promising titles are likely to feature. We're eager for updates on Phantom: Blade Zero (S-Game's action RPG), Bungie's Marathon, and Haven's Fairgames, particularly given recent events surrounding Sony and Concord.

And with Bloodborne's 10th anniversary approaching in March… could we see something special?

We're also crossing our fingers for some fresh announcements and surprises. Could this be the day Halo finally arrives on PlayStation?
