Phobies Launches Major Halloween Update

by Lucas Dec 24,2025
  • Most significant content update arrives on October 1st
  • Nine brand-new Phobies characters join the fray
  • Headlining event: The All Hallows' Masquerade Soirée

This October, Phobies delivers its most substantial game update since release, and the invitation comes with a chilling twist. Yes, you can join the festivities—if you’re bold enough to enter the All Hallows' Masquerade Soirée. Landing on October 1st, the update delivers a host of new Phobies, maps, a major Halloween event, and gameplay refinements that redefine strategic battles.

Nine new Phobies arrive simultaneously, marking the game’s largest single content expansion. Among them are The Butlers, an unsettling trio of undead servants that unlock powerful synergy bonuses when fielded together. They’re joined by Mozzy, a vampiric flyer that drains life from foes, and The Preacher, whose eerie aura can silence enemy abilities across the map. Rounding out the arrivals are Octo-Buddy and Buzzkill, each bringing unique skills to the battlefield.

Prepare to battle across five new maps filled with environmental threats like toxic pools, healing tiles, and rivers of lava. Paired with the new creatures, each match becomes a tense tactical puzzle where a single misstep can spell defeat. For collectors, special seasonal bundles offer a direct path to acquiring The Butlers, letting you harness their full synergistic power without relying on random chance.

At the heart of the update is the All Hallows' Masquerade Soirée—the biggest limited-time event to date. Running throughout the Halloween season, this undead-themed challenge rewards dedicated players with an exclusive Phobie not available in regular card packs for three months. Earning this creature isn't just an unlock; it's a mark of skill and perseverance.

The update also introduces key system improvements. Matchmaking has been optimized for more balanced fights, Coffee can now accelerate Phobie leveling to bring new units into action faster, and Diamond Jacks consistently include Coffee to support long-term progression.
