Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide to Delirium Endgame Events
Path of Exile 2's Atlas features four major endgame encounters: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. This guide focuses on Delirium, a returning mechanic from previous leagues, detailing its initiation, mechanics, rewards, and the Simulacrum Pinnacle event.
Understanding the Delirium Fog Mechanic
On the Atlas, Delirium Mirror map nodes are marked with a distinctive white and black icon. You can guarantee a Delirium event by placing a Delirium Precursor Tablet in a Lost Tower.
Within a Delirium map, locate the multicolored Delirium Mirror near your spawn. Activating it unleashes a moving circle of Delirium Fog. Enemies within the fog are stronger, dropping unique rewards:
- Distilled Emotions: Used in crafting and anointing.
- Simulacrum Splinters: Used to summon the Simulacrum Pinnacle Boss.
- Fractured Mirrors: Interacting with these spawns additional mobs and loot.
Two random bosses, Kosis and Omniphobia, may appear during a Delirium encounter. These are full-fledged bosses, not just rare enemies.
The Simulacrum Pinnacle Event
Reaching higher Waystone tiers increases the chance of obtaining Simulacrum Splinters. Collect 300 splinters to create a Simulacrum, placing it in the Realmgate to access the 15-wave Simulacrum event. Difficulty escalates with each wave, and Delirium bosses have an increased chance of spawning as you progress. Completion rewards two Delirium Passive Skill points.
The Delirium Passive Skill Tree
Located on the Atlas Passive Skill Tree (top-right), the Delirium Passive Skill Tree (distinguished by its white color and mirror shape) offers modifiers to enhance rewards or add complexity. Eight Notable nodes and eight Simulacrum difficulty-increasing nodes are available. Each new Notable node requires increasing Simulacrum difficulty.
Notable Delirium Passive Nodes:
Notable Delirium Passive | Effect | Requirements |
---|---|---|
Get Out Of My Head! | Waystones have a 20% chance to have an Instilled Emotion effect. | N/A |
