Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzle game, Parallel Experiment, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This delay allows for the inclusion of all planned features, including optional puzzles and the mobile version, ensuring a complete and polished experience across all platforms. Cross-play functionality will be available at launch.
Players take on the roles of Ally and Old Dog, detectives embroiled in a sinister experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Success hinges on solving over 80 interconnected puzzles, demanding teamwork and communication. Challenges range from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to hacking computers and even dealing with a less-than-sober individual.
The game's noir atmosphere and comic book art style create a captivating and suspenseful experience. Beyond the core puzzles, players can engage in cooperative retro-style mini-games like darts and match-three challenges, adding a lighter touch to the investigation.
Interactive dialogue with dynamic NPC responses adds depth to the narrative. The game also includes opportunities for playful interaction between partners, with features allowing for lighthearted annoyances. Parallel Experiment boasts five times the content of the developer's previous title, promising a significantly richer cooperative gameplay experience. Visit the Steam page for further details.
