New Paldean Pokémon Join Pokémon GO

Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Poison/Normal-type Pokemon. This event offers a unique opportunity to encounter and evolve these newcomers.

Event Highlights:

  • New Pokemon Debut: Shroodle hatches from 12km Eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy.
  • Shadow Pokemon Focus: Increased Team GO Rocket encounters at PokéStops and in balloons. Utilize Charged TMs to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. Snapshot encounters with a fashionable Croagunk.
  • Special Research: A new Special Research storyline allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia.
  • Shadow Encounters & Raids: Six new Shadow Pokémon (including Unova starters) will appear in the wild, and seven Shadow Pokémon (including Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂) will be featured in one-star and three-star Shadow Raids. Remote Raid Passes are enabled for these raids.
  • Event Bonuses: Field Research tasks will reward Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Collection Challenges and themed Showcases will also be available. A special in-game shop bundle (300 coins) includes an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.

Event Duration: January 15th, 12:00 AM – January 19th, 8:00 PM (Local Time)
