The announcement, made via the official Star Wars Celebration Instagram, follows Daisy Ridley's 2023 appearance where she announced her involvement in a new Star Wars film. This parallel has fans eagerly anticipating similar news from Isaac.
Isaac's relationship with the Star Wars franchise has been complex. Following the conclusion of the Sequel Trilogy in 2019 with The Rise of Skywalker, his public stance on returning has evolved. Initially expressing reluctance, citing needing "another house or something" as a prerequisite (2020), he later shifted to a more neutral position, telling Variety in 2022 that he was "open to anything."
