Official Livestream Reveal
After months of rumors and speculation, Bethesda has officially confirmed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. On April 21, they announced via Twitter (X) that a livestream dedicated to unveiling the remastered version will be held.

First Released in 2006

Originally developed by Bethesda Game Studios and co-published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was initially slated for release as an Xbox 360 launch title in late 2005. However, due to unforeseen development delays, the Xbox 360 and PC versions were released in March 2006.
A mobile version, crafted by Superscape and published by Vir2L Studios, hit the market in May 2006. The PlayStation 3 edition followed in March 2007 in North America and April 2007 in Europe. Plans for a PSP version were scrapped, but the game saw various bundled releases, including combinations with titles like Fallout 3 and BioShock.

Recent leaks from Virtuos’ website have stirred excitement with promotional art and comparisons between the original and the upcoming remastered versions of Oblivion. The remaster is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (with Game Pass availability), and PC.
Rumors also suggest a Deluxe Edition might be in the works, potentially featuring bonus weapons and a horse armor DLC pack. While these details are yet to be confirmed by Bethesda, fans eagerly await the official reveal during the upcoming livestream for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
