Nomad DLC Unveiled for Crusader Kings 3

Paradox Interactive has revealed initial details about their upcoming Crusader Kings 3 expansion, centered around nomadic rulers. This DLC introduces a revolutionary governance system specifically designed for nomadic gameplay. A new in-game currency, "herd," will be central to a ruler's power, influencing military might, cavalry unit composition, relationships with vassals, and other core mechanics.

The nomadic lifestyle necessitates constant movement, a key element reflected in the expansion. Chieftains will strategically relocate, negotiating with or displacing settled populations to secure resources and territory.

Furthermore, players will manage transportable yurts, similar to adventurer camps. These yurts can be upgraded with various components offering significant advantages.

The expansion also features iconic yurt towns that nomadic rulers transport, mirroring the functionality of adventurer camps. These mobile settlements can be enhanced with additional structures, each providing unique benefits.
