Netflix's Dungeons & Dragons Series May Launch 'D&D Universe'

by Violet Feb 23,2025

Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy investments, is spearheaded by Shawn Levy (Deadpool, Wolverine), writer-showrunner Drew Crevello (WeCrashed), and Hasbro. The series, which Crevello has already penned a pilot episode for, has the potential to launch a larger D&D universe on the streaming platform. While Netflix and Hasbro remain tight-lipped, Deadline reports the deal concluded after extensive negotiations.
