Netflix is bringing the electrifying world of Devil May Cry to anime, and a brand-new trailer offers a thrilling glimpse into the action-packed adventure that awaits. Even more exciting, the legendary Kevin Conroy delivers a posthumous performance as the new character, VP Baines, his voice lending gravitas to the series' opening moments.

Conroy, eternally celebrated for his iconic portrayal of Batman, leaves a lasting legacy with this role. Following his acclaimed posthumous performance in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3, fans will once again experience his unparalleled talent. Joining Conroy in the stellar cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch as the iconic Dante himself.

Netflix's official synopsis teases the high-stakes plot: "Sinister forces are at play, threatening to tear open the portal between the human and demon realms. At the heart of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unknowingly holding the fate of both worlds in his hands."

Adi Shankar, known for his work on films like Dredd and Killing Them Softly, serves as showrunner. He also has an Assassin's Creed adaptation in the works, though its release date remains uncertain. The animation will be brought to life by Studio Mir, the acclaimed South Korean studio behind The Legend of Korra and X-Men ‘97.
