Warner Bros. International and NetherRealm Studios are celebrating Mortal Kombat Mobile's 10th anniversary with a massive update, launching on March 25. Expect new fighters, a refreshed Faction Wars mode rebranded as Realm Klash, a brand-new challenge tower, and heaps of anniversary rewards.
A Decade of Fast-Paced, Brutal Kombat Awaits!
The standout addition is MK1 Geras, a new diamond-tier fighter. He comes loaded with abilities including power absorption, healing, and even damage reflection. To unlock him, you'll need to earn rewards through the new Realm Klash mode or progress through the Kombat Pass.
Klassic Skarlet also joins the roster as the first gold-tier fighter capable of ascending fully to Level 5. She features unblockable attacks, inflicts a new Gash debuff, and can steal blood droplets from her opponents. You can obtain her via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard Kombat Pass.
Faction Wars has been completely overhauled and is now known as Realm Klash. Instead of solely battling for Blood Rubies, you can pledge allegiance to one of five different realms and compete to earn Realm Points during two-week seasons.
The anniversary update also introduces new competitive ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs have been refreshed to include new Kameo offers alongside MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual upgrade, new banners, updated leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.

Take On New Challenges in the 10th Anniversary Update
The new Tower of Time event presents an extreme limited-time challenge. Running for two weeks with just 50 floors, it features seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces to collect. MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras also receive their own unique Brutality equipment sets.
A new Fusion Boost modifier automatically powers up the lowest-fused card on your team, helping to balance the challenge. Alongside this new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are all returning.
As part of the celebration, players will receive special daily login rewards. Starting April 1, you'll get a free copy of a featured anniversary character each day for 10 consecutive days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for character ascension.
