Capcom has unveiled early details about the first major patch for Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch in early April. Following the massive release of the game itself, Capcom shared insights about Title Update 1 (TU1) through a post on Steam. The company emphasized that the early April release, just over a month after the game's debut, "will give hunters ample time to prepare for the new content and challenges that await them."
Title Update 1 promises to elevate the game's difficulty with a new monster that surpasses even the Tempered level. "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!" Capcom declared. "TU1 will introduce a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered!" Alongside this, a new challenging monster will be added, keeping players on their toes.
Moreover, TU1 will introduce a new gathering spot for endgame players. "A new place to meet, communicate, enjoy meals together, and more with other hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!" Capcom announced. This area will become accessible to players who have completed the main story, encouraging them to continue their hunting journey.
The response to the new endgame gathering area has been mixed among the community. While some players are excited about the addition, others question its absence at the game's launch. This new area seems reminiscent of the Gathering Hubs from previous Monster Hunter titles, though Capcom has opted not to use that term here. Given that Monster Hunter Wilds currently lacks a dedicated social hub, this new space is anticipated to fill that gap.
Capcom has also released several images to give players a glimpse of this new gathering spot:

In response to 'mixed' Steam user reviews, Capcom has also issued a troubleshooting guide for Monster Hunter Wilds. To help players get started, resources are available detailing what the game doesn't explicitly tell you, along with a comprehensive guide to all 14 weapon types. Additionally, a detailed walkthrough is in progress, a multiplayer guide explains how to play with friends, and for those who participated in the open betas, instructions on transferring your Monster Hunter Wilds Beta character are provided.
IGN's review of Monster Hunter Wilds awarded it an 8/10, stating, "Monster Hunter Wilds continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge."
