"Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature"

Exciting developments are on the horizon for Monster Hunter Now enthusiasts, with Niantic introducing a new feature called Monster Outbreaks. This innovative addition is currently in its testing phase, allowing players to provide crucial feedback before its official launch. The focus of this test is to refine the feature based on player experiences and suggestions.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled to take place from April 26th to April 27th. The event will occur twice daily, offering players two opportunities each day to participate. On both Saturday and Sunday, the testing will run from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., based on local time.

During the testing, specific locations on the map, known as outbreak points, will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. The challenge is for players to collaborate and defeat a total of 100 Black Diablos at a single outbreak point within the designated one-hour window. It's important to note that the goal of 100 is per outbreak point, not globally across all players.

To participate, hunters must have reached HR 11 or higher. Teamwork is key, but players won't be able to utilize the party feature; only in-person group hunts will be valid for this test. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a special icon, and by tapping on these icons, players can access detailed information about the outbreak. A sign-up roster is also available at each location, allowing players to coordinate their participation times.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of the slay count add an intriguing layer to the challenge. If a group of four hunters successfully takes down a single Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. Should the group reach this target before the hour ends, they can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time slot, as only Black Diablos will appear during these outbreaks.

Achieving the goal of 100 defeated monsters comes with rewarding incentives. Successful groups will receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, utilizing the sign-up roster can earn participants an exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you eager to dive into this thrilling new challenge? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and join the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend.
