Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and formidable monsters.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Even before Season 5 begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, marking its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The official launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect balance adjustments designed to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving tail targeting, while the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified power and smoother combos. The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
More Season 5 Features:
A much-needed Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots. This addresses the common issue of overflowing inventories.
Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material exchange feature will launch. Hunters can trade special materials earned through hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
