Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Returns to Esports World Cup 2025!

Following the apparent success of the Esports World Cup 2024, many game publishers are confirming their return for the 2025 competition. Hot on the heels of Free Fire's announcement, Moonton has confirmed that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will once again be featured.

The 2024 Esports World Cup showcased two Mobile Legends: Bang Bang events: the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) and the MLBB Women's Invitational. These events brought together teams from around the globe to compete in Riyadh. Selangor Red Giants emerged victorious in the MSC, while Smart Omega Empress defeated Team Vitality (ending their 25-game win streak) to claim the Women's Invitational title.

A Strong Showing, But Is It Enough?

While most games from the 2024 Esports World Cup are returning, it's notable that few are featuring their premier tournaments. The inclusion of MLBB's mid-season cup, for instance, might suggest the Esports World Cup is viewed as a supplementary event rather than the main focus. This is a double-edged sword; it avoids overshadowing existing leagues but could also be seen as a secondary competition.

Regardless, fans of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be thrilled to see its return to this prestigious tournament. If this news inspires you to try MLBB, check out our tier list of top-tier characters!
