Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings In!

September brings a thrilling new season to Marvel Snap (Free), themed around the iconic Spider-Man universe! This season introduces a game-changing mechanic: Activate abilities. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate abilities let players choose when to trigger a card's effect, offering strategic depth and counterplay options.

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), exemplifies this new mechanic. His Activate ability lets you absorb the lowest-cost card at a location and copy its effect, potentially triggering "On Reveal" abilities a second time. This card's potential for game-breaking combos, particularly with Galactus, makes it a must-have, though its power level might warrant future adjustments.

The season also introduces several exciting new cards:

• Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) On Reveal: Steals 2 Power from the top card of your opponent's deck. A strong card on its own, and even more effective with synergistic locations and cards.
• Madame Web: (Ongoing) Allows you to move one card at her location to another location once per turn.
• Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Activate: Moves the next card you play to the right and gives it +2 Power. A valuable addition to move-based decks.
• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) Activate: Spawns an identical clone at another location. Perfect for creating powerful multiplicative effects.

Two new locations add further strategic complexity:

• Brooklyn Bridge: Prevents players from placing cards there on consecutive turns, demanding creative card placement strategies.
• Otto's Lab: The next card played here pulls a card from the opponent's hand into the location, introducing an element of surprise and disruption.
