Marvel SNAP's initial Spotlight Cache card for 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing character that enhances cards generated within your hand. While often considered a core component of card-generation decks, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two effective deck builds for Victoria Hand, catering to both archetypes and the current SNAP meta.
Victoria Hand (2–3)

The Best Deck for Victoria Hand

Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards for added buffs or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo serves as a tech card, protecting Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand from enemy attacks.
- Devil Dinosaur is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with multiple generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or those that change sides. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
When playing a Victoria Hand deck:
- Balance card generation and Energy management: A full hand maximizes Devil Dinosaur's potential, but you also need space to generate cards and utilize Victoria Hand's effect. Efficient Energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is more important than filling the board.
- Use joker cards strategically: Victoria Hand decks generate random cards. Use these strategically as decoys to mislead your opponent.
- Protect your Ongoing lane: Opponents often target Victoria Hand with tech cards like Enchantress. Play Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and protect them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also finding a place in refined discard decks. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is an effective counter to Victoria Hand. His synergy with Doctor Doom 2099 decks makes him a strong tech card against both Victoria Hand and Doom 2099 lineups.
Other counters include Shadow King (removes Victoria Hand's buffs in one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can also disrupt power distribution in key enemy lanes.
Is Victoria Hand Worth It?
Victoria Hand is a valuable card. Whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or purchased with Tokens, she offers a strong return on investment. While her effectiveness relies somewhat on RNG, her permanent buffs allow for consistent deck building. Her compatibility with multiple archetypes (card-generation and discard) makes her a highly desirable card for many players.
