Marvel Rivals Showcases Sanctum Sanctorum Map Coming in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Unveils the Mystical Sanctum Sanctorum Map

Get ready for a supernatural showdown! Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces the awe-inspiring Sanctum Sanctorum map. This new map is one of three arriving in Season 1, and it's the centerpiece of a thrilling new game mode.

This season's storyline pits the heroes against Dracula, with the Fantastic Four taking center stage in the fight against his evil forces.

Sanctum Sanctorum: Doom Match Mayhem

The Sanctum Sanctorum map will host the new Doom Match mode, a chaotic free-for-all battle for 8-12 players. Only the top 50% will emerge victorious. The map itself is a visual feast, blending opulent decor with surreal elements. Expect floating cookware, a bizarre refrigerator creature, winding staircases, and magical artifacts—all within Doctor Strange's unique home. Even a portrait of Wong and Doctor Strange's ghostly canine companion, Bats, add to the eccentric atmosphere. The level of detail is truly remarkable.

More Than Just the Sanctum

Season 1 also brings two additional maps: Midtown, setting the stage for a new convoy mission, and the mysterious Central Park, slated for a mid-season update.

Fantastic Four Reinforcements

With Doctor Strange temporarily out of the picture, the Fantastic Four are stepping up to defend New York City. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut with Season 1, while Human Torch and The Thing join the fray in the mid-season update.

The upcoming season promises a thrilling mix of new maps, game modes, and characters, making Marvel Rivals a must-play for hero shooter enthusiasts.
