Choi's letter expressed gratitude to fans for their support, highlighting the team's dedication to creating the DLC while acknowledging some of the base game's shortcomings. The development team aims to build upon the game's strengths while addressing previous issues. "For the DLC and the sequel," Choi stated, "we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow."
The letter included a sneak peek: concept art depicting P in a snowy location near a lighthouse, hinting at a new, challenging environment. A new musical piece from the DLC soundtrack was also shared, though it was originally composed in 2022. The accompanying music video further fuels anticipation, showing a character with a clockwork weapon in a Victorian setting.
DLC Release Window and Beyond
While a precise release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 Earnings Results indicate a launch sometime in the second half of 2024. The DLC will accompany four other NEOWIZ titles:
- The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy

Further fueling excitement, Choi previously shared an eight-minute video showcasing early concept art, revealing an industrial facility and a perilous shipwreck as potential DLC locations.
Choi concluded his letter with a promise to deliver a delightful experience, urging fans to remain patient. This DLC, however, is only the beginning; a full sequel is already in development, promising even more adventures in the world of Lies of P.
