We had the pleasure of building the LEGO Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set when it was first released, and we described it as a "beautiful, compact rendition of Harry Potter's home away from home." This set offers a scale model of the castle and its surrounding area, featuring the Main Tower, Astronomy Tower, Great Hall, courtyards, bridges, greenhouses, boathouse, and the Black Lake. Additionally, smaller details like the Chamber of Secrets and Winged Key room add fun and complexity to the building process.
With the 20% discount on this set, you save $45 off the regular price. At $135.95, it's still a significant investment, but it's the best price we've seen since its release last year. If this set is out of your budget, there are more affordable options with similar aesthetics that are definitely worth exploring.

Are There Any New LEGO Harry Potter Sets?
For those who already own the Hogwarts Castle set, the good news is that LEGO continues to release new Harry Potter sets regularly. In 2025, the latest additions include Hogwarts: Castle Flying Lessons, Malfoy Manor, Hagrid and Harry's Motorcycle Ride, and the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops. Most of these sets are more budget-friendly, with the exception of the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops, priced at $200. However, it remains a more affordable alternative to the original Diagon Alley build, which ranks among the priciest LEGO sets available.
