How to Knock Out Enemies in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, sometimes a subtle approach is preferable to all-out combat. This guide explains how to incapacitate enemies without killing them.

Knocking Out Enemies

Leaving a trail of corpses isn't always the best strategy. Knocking out enemies offers a less lethal alternative. Here's how:

  1. Crouch: Press the circle button to crouch and sneak up behind an NPC.
  2. Knock Out Prompt: A "Knock Out" prompt will appear in the bottom right corner when you're close enough. Press the indicated button.
  3. Success/Failure: A blue icon with swords indicates a successful knockout. Press R2. If the NPC resists (indicated by a shield icon), press L2 to subdue them. Failure on both attempts will likely lead to a fight.

Success depends on Henry's strength compared to the NPC's. The following perks improve your chances:

  • Tight Grip: Increases knockout success rate.
  • Sandman: Increases knockout success rate.

Stealth Kills

For a more decisive (and lethal) stealth approach, equip a dagger. The process is similar: sneak up from behind, and the stealth kill prompt will appear.
