Rest is crucial in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, offering a full health recovery without relying on food or potions. Here's how to catch some Z's.
How to Get a Bed and Sleep in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*
Early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, securing a bed is paramount. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, choosing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline grants you access to a bed. Radovan, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient option. Completing his smithing tutorial unlocks a room next to the forge with a bed and a chest for storage. This bed will be marked on your map, providing a readily available rest spot whenever you need to heal.
Sleeping at Campsites
When your designated bed is out of reach, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game's world offer alternative sleeping spots. While some may be occupied by bandits requiring a bit of cleanup before use, others are empty and ready for a rest. These campsites appear on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows you to sleep. While the comfort level is lower than a proper bed, it still effectively restores health.
Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort. If discovered, you might face a confrontation with guards unless you can successfully talk your way out of trouble.
