Warhorse Studios has announced that official Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 mod support will be released soon, empowering players to bring their most imaginative creations to medieval Bohemia.
The team behind the acclaimed open-world RPG revealed their intention to integrate modding tools through Steamworks in a concise post on Steam. While the announcement confirmed plans for future support, it did not specify a release date or provide further details. For now, Warhorse simply stated that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 mods will enable players to "create, adjust, and expand" the game as they wish. Although unofficial mods continue to thrive on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image—shown below—depicts Henry with a vibrant zebra mount and a fish-themed sword.

Since its release earlier this month, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has captivated the gaming community, making it no surprise that Warhorse has ambitious post-launch plans. Beyond the upcoming Steamworks mod support, players can look forward to three expansions in 2025. The DLC rollout begins this summer with Brushes with Death, continues in the fall with Legacy of the Forge, and concludes in winter with Mysteria Ecclesia. Each expansion will continue Henry’s narrative, while free updates will introduce features such as Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
