Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has introduced a groundbreaking feature where the game's NPCs, powered by NVIDIA's Ace AI technology, will exhibit remarkably realistic and human-like behaviors. This technology enables the creation of advanced AI citizens who dynamically respond to their surroundings and evolve based on their unique experiences.

A video on NVIDIA GeForce's official YouTube channel, titled "NVIDIA ACE | inZOI - Create Simulated Cities with Co-Playable Characters," showcases how these NPCs, known as Smart Zoi, can operate autonomously, bringing the city to life. When activated, Smart Zois actively participate in city life, following their own schedules and making independent decisions such as going to work or socializing with friends. Even when not directly interacting with the player, these NPCs can influence each other's actions.

For instance, a Smart Zoi with a considerate personality might assist others by providing food or giving directions. Conversely, an appreciative Smart Zoi could cheer on a talented street performer, drawing a crowd. Players can delve into the AI Zoi's thoughts using the Thought system, uncovering the motivations behind their actions. At the end of each day, each Smart Zoi reflects on their activities, which shapes their future behavior.
