Marvel Contest of Champions Welcomes Isophyne, a Brand New Original Character!
Kabam is introducing Isophyne, a completely original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her striking design evokes elements reminiscent of the film Avatar, complemented by copper-toned metallic accents.
Who is Isophyne?
Isophyne enters the Contest of Champions arena with a unique fighting style. Kabam has developed a rich backstory for her, hinting at a significant role in future game updates.
Her innovative "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic sets her apart. Unlike other champions who must sequentially build power for special moves, Isophyne can freely chain any special attack in any order. This allows for highly adaptable and unpredictable combat strategies.
Isophyne's connection to the Founders, a mysterious group within the game's lore, will be further explored in 2025.

Kabam is celebrating the game's 10th anniversary with a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. Recent additions include Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. Four more surprises are planned for November.
