TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of the original with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability. The Steam page highlights 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, especially in comparison to its simultaneous release on Switch and Steam. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS here. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
