During a recent strategy reveal, Insomniac outlined their ambitious plans while remaining silent about Marvel's Wolverine. In a Variety interview, Co-Head Chad Dezern emphasized the studio's ambitious roadmap while confirming they're not yet ready to share Wolverine details or confirm a potential 2025 release window.
"We're working on exciting projects with an ambitious vision," Dezern stated, "but we need to keep some surprises for later."
Marvel's Wolverine First Announced in 2021
Marvel's Wolverine debuted at the PlayStation Showcase 2021 with a cinematic teaser confirming development for PlayStation 5. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Creative Director Bryan Intihar later confirmed during a 2023 Kinda Funny interview that both games share universe 1048, fueling speculation about potential crossovers.
