Infinity Nikki provides compensation for version 1.5’s troubled launch. Discover what players will receive to address the update’s issues and Infold Games’ next steps.
Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Changes
Free Diamonds Offered as Apology
Infinity Nikki’s version 1.5 launched with high expectations, but Infold Games fell short of promises, prompting an apology. In a May 18 post on Twitter (X), the developer acknowledged an “unstable game environment and disappointing content,” offering players compensation.
The update introduced numerous technical glitches and bugs across platforms, some severe enough to make the game unplayable. Unexpected system changes also increased the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11, raising the maximum pulls needed to complete a set to 220. This made collecting full outfits more costly and time-intensive for players.

A new dye system, requiring players to unlock color palettes for each clothing item, was criticized as complex and cumbersome. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed, as its associated outfit remains in development. “Technical challenges in version 1.5 prevented us from refining the Sea of Stars chapter and Threads of Reunion narrative, causing confusion,” Infold Games explained.
In response to player feedback, Infold announced, “To address version 1.5’s issues and schedule changes, all players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals.”
Despite the compensation, Infold has not detailed plans to resolve the issues. Players flooded comment sections with concerns over the pity system changes, dye system flaws, persistent bugs, and more.
Version 1.6 Postponed

Due to version 1.5’s troubled release, Infold extended its duration to tackle ongoing issues, delaying version 1.6 until June 12, 2025. This shift impacts in-game event schedules.
The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, is now postponed to version 1.6. Infold noted, “This delay allows us to enhance task mechanics for a better experience. Further details will follow—stay tuned.” Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for the delay.
Additional Changes in Progress

Version 1.5’s issues run deep, and Infold admits they’re only beginning to address them. “We’re discussing unlisted adjustments. Some require longer development, but we’ll roll them out in phases,” the developer stated.
To improve communication, Infold is launching the Miraland Round Table, a platform for players to share feedback directly via the game’s official email (with “Table Advisor” in the subject line) or in-game Customer Service option.
Infold expressed “regret for unfulfilled promises but gratitude for your support,” vowing to make Infinity Nikki “better than ever.” The game is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. Check our article below for the latest updates!
